Trying out Earth Breeze Eco-Friendly Laundry Detergent Sheets
We all have to do laundry. And it is, unfortunately, one area of our lives that can create substantial plastic waste. In fact, 700 million plastic jugs of laundry detergent are thrown away each year in the United States alone. All about Earth Breeze and the Eco Sheets
Basically, rather than a liquid or powder laundry detergent, the Earth Breeze eco sheets are a concentrated, liquid-less detergent in strip form (as seen above). Each package has 60 strips and you just throw one strip into each load of laundry and you are good to go.
The Earth Breeze Eco Sheets come in two varieties: Fresh Scent or Fragrance Free. I’ve tried them both and they are both lovely. However, I definitely am partial to the Fresh Scent, as I love the fresh, clean laundry scent. I recommend ordering one of each and determining which is best for you and your needs.
What makes Earth Breeze eco-friendly?
Conventional liquid laundry detergents contain up to 90% water. So by concentrating the detergent into these dry strips, you are saving on the giant plastic jugs and the resources needed to ship and deliver these jugs. It just makes sense.

Based off of my many loads of laundry, these eco sheets definitely work! Each load, my clothes came out clean and smelling great.
One of my initial concerns was that the sheets wouldn’t dissolve in a short load of laundry. However, I am happy to report that the strips dissolved completely, even in a short 30-minute load.
Besides being a sustainable option (for many reasons, as listed above), my favourite thing about these strips is how lightweight and mess-free they are. Long gone are the days of lugging around bulky plastic jugs of dripping detergent!
Price, my overall thoughts & how to try them for yourself
Price-wise, the subscription is definitely the best way to go. It is $12 USD for a package of 60 sheets for 60 loads, including carbon-neutral shipping to your door. And you can cancel at any time. From my research, this is definitely comparable, if not less, than other eco-friendly detergents. Without the subscription, it is $20 USD for a pack of 60 sheets.
