Who wants an Iced Salted Maple Cinnamon Latte? โ๐ฏ
I have always been a hot coffee lover (even in the heat of summer). However, lately, I have been enjoying iced coffees more than ever.
I developed this iced coffee recipe with @Balzacscoffee (my favourite coffee roaster) to make an indulgent, but not too sweet, iced coffee that you can easily make at home. Their Balzac’s Bards Blend coffee is a dark, lush stout roast that pairs perfectly with some creamy oat milk and cinnamon. This roast is also fairtrade AND organic, which are critical coffee criteria for me.
Here’s the recipe for the Iced Salted Maple Cinnamon Latte:
Iced Salted Maple Cinnamon Latte
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup brewed Balzacs Bards Blend coffee or other strong coffee/espresso
- 1-2 tbsp maple syrup depending on how sweet you like your coffee
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract optional
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch ground cinnamon plus more for garnish
- 1 cup of ice
- 3/4 cup unsweetened oat milk or other non-dairy milk, frothed*
Instructions
- Mix the coffee, maple syrup, optional vanilla, salt, and cinnamon in a large cup (or mason jar) of choice.
- Add the ice and stir.
- Top with the frothed milk and garnish with cinnamon. Enjoy!
Notes
If you haven’t heard of Balzacs Coffee, head over to their website and Instagram page (@Balzacscoffee) and give them a follow. They are proudly Canadian and I am fortunate enough to have one of their shops right around the corner from me here in Kingston! They also have a coffee subscription, where you can get Balzac’s coffee sent to your home bi-weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly.
I hope you enjoy this recipe!
