Want to make your own fresh juice but don’t have a juicer? (Or maybe you just hate cleaning a juicer like me?). Well I have a solution!
All you need is a blender and a nut-milk bag or a cheesecloth. You can find nut milk bags at health food stores or here: https://amzn.to/2X9JJdY
So whenever I find myself with some wilty, yet still juiceable, veggies and fruit lying around, instead of tossing them I whip up this juice! I usually use any combination of apple, carrot, lemon juice, cucumber, beets, greens, ginger, etc, etc.
Here’s how you do it:
Wash the produce super well.
- Chop up produce to small, rough pieces.
- Add it all to the blender
- Cover with filtered water
- Blend away!
- Simply squeeze all the blended juice through the nut milk bag or cheesecloth (your hands may turn a little red if you’re using beets)
- Transfer to a pour-able container and enjoy! So simple.
The juice is best enjoyed right away, but it can keep in the fridge for a few days!
